In 2025, there had two major anniversaries to celebrate:

30 years of the TREFFPUNKT language institute in Bamberg and 10 years of TREFFPUNKT-ONLINE.

Founded in 1995 as a language school for intensive German courses in Bamberg, TREFFPUNKT quickly expanded and added English courses to its offerings.

In 2015, founder Alexandra von Rohr divided the school into two independent schools: The school Privtes Sprachinstitut TREFFPUNKT GmbH with local courses in Bamberg have since been led by Kristina Schimmeyer, while Alexandra von Rohr manages the school TREFFPUNKT-ONLINE+HOME TUITION. Two schools, two women directors and one shared commitment to quality.

In the following years, TREFFPUNKT-ONLINE further refined its profile: even more intensive and comprehensive one-on-one instruction and – as an ideal complement – home tuition program, an in-person program of individualized learning at the teacher’s home: Learn-German-Home-Tuition.com.
